What is Kaltura Capture?
Kaltura Capture is a video capture tool which runs natively on both PC and Mac. The tool allows you to capture PowerPoint presentations, make screen recordings, webcam recordings, or just voice recordings.
How do I add media using Kaltura Capture?
- In the upper right corner of the page, select +Add New and choose Kaltura Capture to obtain the Kaltura Capture install file.
- Choose to download and install for Windows or Mac, as needed.
- After installing Kaltura Capture, when you select it again from the +Add New list, the Kaltura Capture application will automatically open. Another option is to open the application directly from your computer.
- Enable the features that you'd like to use in any configuration that you'd like to use them:
- Click on the Start Recording button to begin recording.
- After stopping the recording, there will be an option to Save & Upload; this will automatically upload the recording into MediaSpace.
- After uploading the media, it will take some time to process and will not be viewable immediately; this is normal.
